About the event
Let's be honest- if you are a busy Mum, you simply have to schedule in self-care otherwise it doesn't tend to happen. This 4 week experience has been created for you to feel nourished, whilst also learning a valuable skill which will help you navigate the everyday stresses of #mumlife.
Join me in-person where you will be supported as you experience:
- exploring the foundations of meditation
- be guided through various basic meditations to experience mindfulness
- how to overcome obstacles to incorporating meditation into your life (specific for Mums)
- a non-judgmental space for you to find your calm
- practical guidance from a 'real-life Mum'!
- a community of like-minded women
- free access to online course that supports your knowledge and practice
- This course is suitable for those who are new to meditation
[You are welcome to wear ugg boots, trackies - whatever makes you feel comfy]
Location: Mindful Impact Wellness Hub, 5/5 Main St, Crafers [The space is warm and cosy!]

Why Meditation? Being still and observing your mind allows a deep connection with yourself. The journey of meditation may not be perfect, but it's where the true magic happens.
Regular meditation can:
- improve baseline anxiety/depression markers
- increase ability to focus
- calm the nervous system and improve mood
- enhance relaxation and sleep
- assist with stress management
- increase overall happiness
What to Bring:
Chairs and bolsters are provided but you may like to bring:
- Extra cushions/bolster
- Blanket/Shawl
- Yoga Mat
- Eye Pillow
- Water Bottle
- Anything that enhances your comfort
**Important Note: If you have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder or significant trauma, please consult with your primary care provider before beginning meditation. While the practice of meditation is suitable for most people, it can bring up uncomfortable emotions/sensations. If you have concerns, please contact Kama to see if these classes are right for you**
